Lemieux, William E. "Peperé", 86, died June 21, 2010 at the RI Veterans Home in Bristol. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Philip and Rose (Glancy) Lemieux.
Mr. Lemieux was a cook and chef for 41 years in the Rhode Island area until retiring in 1981. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII.
He leaves three daughters, Jean Manuppelli of North Providence, Maureen Casey and Denise Petrangelo both of Cranston, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a brother, Joseph Lemieux of Florida. He was the father of the late William Lemieux, Jr. and brother of the late Dorothy Provoyeur.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:30 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, followed by a committal service with military honors at 11 AM in the chapel of the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
