Grossi, Wilfred A., 81, died November 6, 2013 at the Overlook Nursing Home. He was the husband of A. June (Finucane) Grossi for 26 years. A resident of Cranston until moving to Glocester in 1986, he was the son of the late Loreto and Eva (Moretti) Grossi.
Wilfred was a heavy equipment operator for Cardi Construction and other companies. He was a member of Local 57 Operation Engineers. He was a Veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean Conflict.
Besides his wife he leaves three sisters, Helen Desesare and Linda Hughes of Cranston, Marjorie Spaziano of Warwick, and a daughter Carolyn Wilson of Cranston. He also leaves his beloved daughter Lisa Melucci and her husband Alfred, with whom he made his home, cherished grandsons SGT Joshua Mason and SPC Zachary Mason serving with the RI National Guard.
