Walter Mello

Mello, Walter L., 89, died on April 6, 2019 in Florida.  A 65-year resident of North Providence, he was the husband of the late Shirley (Muldoone) Mello and son of the late Manuel and Yvonne Mello.

Walter had worked at DOCPX on Charles St. for many years, as well as The Classic Restaurant, and was a longtime employee for Washburn Wire.

He is survived by five children, Kathy, Walter, Jr., Richard, Cynthia, and Rebecca, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his brother, Robert Mello.  He was the brother of the late Manuel Mello.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, May 2nd at 10 am in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins St., Providence.  Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park.
