Vincent Ranucci, Jr.

Ranucci, Vincent M. Jr., 76, of Colony Dr., died Wednesday, April 24, 2013, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Gwen M. (Furia) Ranucci. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Vincent and Vincenza (Tata) Ranucci.

Vincent had worked for the Turnkey Post Office in Providence for 36 years, retiring as a supervisor. He served as a member of the 143rd Division Headquarters, 103rd Artillery Battery in the RI Army National Guard.

Besides his wife he leaves a son, Vincent Ranucci and his wife Rosetta of North Providence, a daughter, Paula Ranucci of Johnston, two adored grandchildren, Stephanie and Nicholas Ranucci, a brother, Richard Ranucci and his wife Jean of Johnston, and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. He was a brother of the late Michael and Robert Ranucci.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 9 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours are Friday 4-7 PM.
