Duggan, Vincent T., 79, of Wakefield, RI , died December 11, 2010 at South County Hospital. He was a son of the late William and Anna (McCarron) Duggan.
Vincent was a substance abuse counselor for Stonington Institute, North Stonington, CT before retiring and a licensed funeral director for many years in Rhode Island. He was a member of the American Legion and a Meals on Wheels volunteer. Vincent was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He also was a friend of Bill W.
Vincent leaves four children, William (Gretchen) Duggan, Maryann Duggan, Catherine Duggan (Nicole Tillbrook), and Vincent Duggan, Jr. (Ann Sullivan), nine grandchildren, and his sponsee and close friend, Adam McMahon. He was brother of the late William Duggan, Ann Stafford, Rosalie Halley, and Alice Conway.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield. Burial with military honors will follow in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimers Assn. or Diabetes Assn. www.robbinsfuneralhome.com
