Vienna Guccione

Guccione, Vienna M. (Principe), 93, died Sunday, April 29, 2018 at her home. She was the wife of the late Salvatore A. “Sammy” Guccione for nearly 66 years before his passing in November. Born in Italy, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Francesca (Amato) Principe.

Vienna was a great mom and enjoyed visiting with her family on Christmas Eve and holidays. She was a great cook.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Guccione and his wife Jean and her brother, Edward Principe and his wife Anna. She was the mother of the late David and Dino Guccione, grandmother of the late Anthony Guccione, Jr. and sister of the late Rose Castellucci, Ida Bavaro, Felix Principe and Joseph Principe.

Her visitation will be held Thursday 9-10 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, followed by a funeral home service at 10 AM. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
