Tina Carroll

Carroll, Tina I. (Carbone), 89, died May 27, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, with her beloved daughter by her side. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Scipione and Marianna (Carvisiglia) Carbone.

She leaves one daughter, Diane Carroll of Lincoln, one grandchild, Candace, two sisters, Evelyn Kalas of Willowick, Ohio, and Anna Denby of Cranston. She was the dear mother of the late Edward J. Carroll, Jr. and the sister of the late Caterina R. Southworth, Benjamin and Samuel Carbone.

Her funeral was held on Tuesday from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Providence. Burial was private. Calling hours were omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
