Albanese, Teresa M. (Carnevale) 95, of North Providence, died Friday November 22, 2013. She was the wife of the late Edward C. Albanese. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Felix and Maria (Lepore) Carnevale.
Teresa was a long time hairdresser and homemaker. She was a 1936 graduate of Central High School and a parishioner St. Thomas Church. She was a 66 year summer resident of Roy Carpenters Beach in Matunuck. Beloved by all as Gram T, she loved to cook for her family, knit, crochet and travel to Foxwoods with her sisters for bingo.
She is survived by her son, Edward C. "Bo/Beama" Albanese and his wife Terrie Monacelli of Providence, her cherished granddaughters, Mary Jane Kanaczet (Albanese) and her husband Kevin of Narragansett, and Erin T. Albanese of Matunuck, her sister Phyllis Pilkington of Providence, her beloved great grandsons Kevin Thomas Kanaczet, and Andrew E. Kanaczet. She was sister of the late Rev. Thomas Carnevale, Mary Bibeault, Victoria Rocchio, Josie Sullivan, Rose Hinckley and Evelyn Cafferty.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:15 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation Monday 4-8 PM.
