DeFalco, Sylvia (Roselli), 80, of Johnston, died on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Guido and Silvia (Nardolillo) Roselli.
Sylvia a registered nurse in various roles before her retirement in 2008. She was a 1963 graduate of the St. Joseph School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. In 1987 she also earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing (RN) from Rhode Island College.
She is survived by her children, Michael DeFalco, Stephen DeFalco, Christine Walker (Edward), and Susan Raposo (Peter), five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her brothers Thomas Roselli (Patti) and Paul Roselli. She was predeceased by her sister Nancy Sachuk, with whom she had a special close relationship.
Sylvia had a deep love for her children and family. Her favorite things to do were gardening, ballroom dancing, spending time with her family vacationing at the beach, and an appreciation for good food.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 10 AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston. Burial will be private.
