Susan Mariotti

Mariotti, Susan M. (Corte), 61, of Thornton Ave., died July 1, 2008 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of Roy A. Mariotti. They would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on July 4th. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of John and Florence (Durand) Corte of North Providence.

Susan was an X-Ray Technician at North Providence Medical Services for the past 26 years. She was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy at Bayview. An avid golfer, she played in the Chemawa Golf Course Leagues. She also enjoyed reading and quilting.

Besides her husband and parents, she leaves a son, Christopher Mariotti and his wife Shayna of Cranston, a daughter, Amy Antunes and her husband David of Smithfield, a grandson, Matthew Antunes, and two sisters, Janet Mooney of North Providence and Deborah Boisvert of Albany, NH.

Her funeral will be held Monday, July 7th at 8:15 am from the ROBBINS FUNERAL HOME, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Philip Church, Greenville. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. Calling hours Sunday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
