Stanley Moskwa

Moskwa, Stanley J., 88, of Gainer Ave., died May 30, 2009 at Heritage Hills Nursing Centre. He was the husband of Florence (Scopelliti) Moskwa. Born in Woonsocket and raised in Westborough, MA, he was a son of the late Michael and Agnes (Somejedian) Moskwa.

Stanley was a registered optician at McLeod Optical for 30 years, subsequently working for local doctors before retiring. He was a Marine Corps veteran of WWII.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son, James Moskwa and his wife Sharon of Coventry. He was brother of the late Frank Moskwa, Rose Gesualdi, Julia Kraus, Mary Wieser, Frances Higgins, and Stacia Humber.

Calling hours Tuesday 8-10 am with a service at 10 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Military honors will follow.
