Shirley Fall

Fall, Shirley E., 70, of Wakefield, a Johnston native, died November 11, 2013 at her home. Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of the late Herbert and Edna (Blackburn) Fall.

Shirley was employed at Ronci Manufacturing for 18 years until it closed and then worked as a housekeeper at Cherry Hill Manor until retiring in 2000. She was a member of the former St. Alban's Church, Centredale.

Shirley was lifetime active member of Roy Carpenter's Beach in Matunuck. She loved to shop, walk, and spend time at the South County Senior Center, where she exercised and played scrabble and bingo. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandnephews, Chris & Ben.

Shirley is survived by two nieces, Bethany Sawyer of Saunderstown and Robin Fall of Dallas, TX, and a sister-in-law, Arlene Fall of North Kingstown. She was the sister of the late William H. Fall.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 10-11 AM followed by a service at 11 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. Donations in her memory may be made to the Jay Lawrence Foundation, PO Box 580, Greenville, RI 02828.
