Scott Thibeault

Scott William Thibeault, 57, of Attleboro, MA, formerly of Easton, MA, passed away tragically on January 14, 2025. Born on June 9, 1967, in Dorchester, MA, he was the beloved son of Paul and Cathy (Cummings) Thibeault.

Scott was a 1985 graduate of Stoughton High School and later earned an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University in 2002. He worked as a chef for Sodexo for eleven years, where he shared his passion for cooking and baking with those around him.

Scott was a devoted father to his three children, Justin, Casper, and Haley Thibeault of Easton, whom he shared with his former wife, Cheri Metter. He is also survived by his brothers, Paul Thibeault of Carver and Steven Thibeault of Attleboro; his aunts and uncles Michael, Matthew, Mary, Debbie, and the late Joyce Cummings; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Scott found joy in many hobbies that reflected his love for life and family. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, baking, watching sports-especially NASCAR-and spending time in Booth Bay Harbor, Maine. Holidays were particularly special to Scott as he delighted in preparing meals for loved ones. His family's cherished Cardamom Braid recipe was one of his favorites to make. Scott treasured moments spent with his children fishing, playing catch, or participating in Boy Scout activities.

Family and friends are welcome to pay respect and share fond memories of Scott Saturday, February 1st, 2025, at 12:30-3:00 PM in The Congregational Church 17 West St. Mansfield, MA. A private service will be held by Pastor Mirissa Rapoza at an earlier time.

Scott will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort and peace to those he leaves behind.
