Russell Steere

Steere, Russell N., 87, of Putnam pike, Harmony, died December 25, 2012 at his home. He was the husband of Constance (Demaine) Steere. Born in Glocester, he was a son of the late Albert A. and Lois N. (Newcomb) Steere.

Russell was an engineer for the former ITT Grinnell, formerly of Providence, for over 43 years before retiring. He was the owner of Camp Russell in Harmony. He was a member of Friendship Lodge #7, F and AM, Chepachet, Temple Royal Arch Chapter #3 of Warren, RI, and the Queen of Sheba Eastern Star of Scituate.

Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Linda Steere of Jamestown, and a step-daughter Barbara Albro of Clearwater, FL. He was the brother of the late Leonard Steere.
