Rosemary Correia

 

Rosemary Correia, 75, of Smithfield passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024.

Born in Fall River, MA she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Rose (Freitas) Correia.

Miss Correia worked for over 40 years as a Laboratory Technician at Rhode Island Hospital.  She enjoyed traveling and exploring new places, but always found herself back at the Trapp Family Lodge in Vermont with her close friends. She was an avid reader and loved games and crafts with her friends as well as her grand-nieces.

She leaves two brothers, David Correia of Easton, MA and Joseph and his wife Joanne Correia of Pine Island, FL, a dear friend Celine, her husband Rick and son Richard Bell of Greenville, RI, nieces, Catherine and her wife Kara Courtney and Jessica Correia, nephews, Christopher and his wife Kendra Correia, Peter and his wife Kerry Correia, and Jonathan Correia and fiance Lindsey Gant, and her beloved grand-nieces and grand-nephew Ande, Maeve, and Ronan.

Her funeral with visitation will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 from the ROBBINS FUNERAL HOME, 2251 Mineral Spring Avenue, at 8:30 am to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Saint Michael's Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield.

Burial will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol.
