Roseanna Ranaldi

Roseanna M. Ranaldi (Brown), 86, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2023 at home with her family by her side.  She was the loving wife of Angelo P. Ranaldi.  Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late Harry F. and Anna E. (Bucci) Brown.

Roseanna was a devout Catholic and faithful parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Church.  She was a generous donor to many charities, and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.   She enjoyed sewing, cooking and shopping, as well as coffee and conversation.

Besides her husband, Roseanna is survived by four children, Steven Ranaldi of Warwick, Linda Bellemare of Wakefield, Jacquelyn Ranaldi of Greenville, and Laurie Ranaldi of Glocester, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a brother, Richard Brown of North Providence, a sister, Louise Volpe of San Diego, CA, and many dear extended relatives and friends.  She was the sister of the late Robert, Harry, Walter, and Thomas Brown.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston.  Graveside burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.  Calling hours Thursday from 4-7 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org
