Rose Manuppelli

Manuppelli, Rose R., 85, of Link St., died January 17, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late George Manuppelli for 51 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Pietro and Angela (Moreno) Giovine.

Rose worked in the school lunch program for the State of Rhode Island for over 20 years. She was a communicant of the Church of the Presentation and an active member of the Salvatore Mancini Center.

She leaves her son, George Manuppelli and his wife Jean of North Providence, three granddaughters, Traci Hiltz, Lisa D'Amico, and Cheryl Kinch, five great-grandchildren, and a brother, Donald Giovine of Bristol. She was sister of the late Dorothea Della Fave, Delores Melucci, Cosmo Giovine, and Peter Raymond Giovine.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Church of the Presentation, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 4-8 pm.
