Rose Magness

Rose Magness (Piccoli), 101, of Johnston, died on May 25, 2023 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Elven Magness and daughter of the late Andrew and Maria (Ianucci) Piccoli.

She was an avid New York Yankees fan.

She is survived by her daughter, Jewel Buben, her son, Douglas Magness and his wife Barbara, all of Johnston, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.  She was the grandmother of the late Steven Mancini, and great-grandmother of the late Derek Buben.  She was sister of the late Salvatore, Louis, Michael, and Vincent Piccoli, Christine Ferrara, Constance Morrone, Julia Ciarciaglini, Carmella DiBiase, Anne Cardillo, Fannie Langello, and Ceceilia Floyd.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3rd from 8:30-9:30 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston.  Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Grace Church Memorial Fund in memory of Elven and Rose Magness.
