Robert Zawislak

Zawislak, Robert E., 55, of Woonasquatucket Ave., died August 5, 2011 at Roger Williams Medical Center. He was the husband of Wanda I. (Rivera) Zawislak. Born in Providence, he was the son of Thelma V. (Jette) Zawislak and the late Anthony F. Zawislak.

Robert worked for Simon's Supply of Pawtucket for 22 years and was formerly the head cook at J&D's Restaurant. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the New England Patriots, and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Besides his wife and mother, he leaves two sisters, Patricia Zawislak of North Providence and Joan Zawislak of Providence.

His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Thomas Church, Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours Monday 4-7 pm.
