Robert Walker

Walker, Robert A., 80, of North Providence, died Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at his home. He was married to the love of his life, Patricia (Green) Walker, for over 58 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Russell and Esther (Uttley) Walker.

Bob and his wife were owners of Nicholas Electric and FNC Inc. of North Providence until retiring in 2004. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam Era.  He was a volunteer for the Church of the Master Community Feeding Ministry.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Paul J. Walker and wife Suzanne Ross Walker of Greenville, a brother Kenneth Walker of Maggie Valley, NC, a grandson William Braeden Pierce, and his faithful dog Solace.  He was the brother of the late Russell Walker.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 10am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, followed by burial with military honors in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours will be Monday 4-7pm.
