Robert E. von Heyn, PhD, BCBA-D, 70, of Greenville, died on June 9, 2024 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of Susan Wondolowski and the father of Michael William von Heyn. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late William and Jeanne (Birkett) von Heyn.
Bob had worked as the Director of Clinical Services for the Judge Rotenberg Center before retiring.
He is survived by his brother, William von Heyn, Jr. and his sister, Carol Passero.
Bob loved his family, JRC, psychology, gardening, NY Yankees baseball, researching ancestry, photography, and woodworking. His quiet way about him will be missed. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Roger Williams Zoo.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
