Robert Nelson

Robert S. Nelson, 68, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Cedar Hill Health Care and Nursing Facility in Randolph. Bob, the son of the late Sven and Nerina Nelson, was born in Providence and lived in Cranston, RI where he graduated from the University of Rhode Island. He is survived by his son David and Melissa Nelson of Stoughton, his son Chris and Sara Nelson of Gorham, ME, and daughter Lori and Scott Sawtelle of Hanson, MA. He is also survived by six wonderful grandchildren Ryan, Cameron, Ben, Haley, Emmeline and Ashley.
Bob worked for many years with Gillette before turning to the boating industry. He worked for Boston Whaler and then started his own business selling Mako, Parker, and Scout boats. He loved to play tennis, golf, and sailing. He also loved watching his winning Boston teams bring home the championships.
