Robert A. Andreozzi, 85, of North Providence, died on December 15, 2024 at Miriam Hospital. He was the beloved longtime companion of Barbara Malark. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Armando and Etta (Damiano) Andreozzi.

Bob worked at Metropolitan Insurance for 25 years, retiring in 1993. He was a proud US Army Veteran, serving from 1957-59. He also was an avid New York Yankees fan. Most of all, he was devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by three children, Jane Gauvin and her husband, Charles, Susan Andreozzi, and Karen Silveira and her husband, Scott, his daughter-in-law, Kristin Andreozzi, five grandchildren, Mia, Anthony, and John Andreozzi, Gabrielle Hall, and Colin Gauvin, four great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Charles, Josephine, and Eloise, and siblings, John Andreozzi, Connie Carroll, and Jo-Ann Barrett. He was the father of the late Robert Andreozzi and brother of the late Armando “Joe” Andreozzi.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the VA Medical Center for their unwavering support during several years of dialysis, as well as the staff of Elmhurst Extended Care.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:30 am in St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
