Rita Pluchino

Pluchino, Rita C. (D’Orazio), 93, died on September 5, 2021 at Stillwater Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.  She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Pluchino and daughter of the late John and Angela (DiFolco) D’Orazio.

Rita was a bookkeeper for General Motors and for US Pharmaceutical until retiring.

She is survived by two children, Karen A. Pluchino and her husband Joseph and John G. Reale; her stepdaughter, Susan Carroll and her husband Jim; three granddaughters, Sandra D’Angelo, Jennifer Domingo and her husband Dr. Joseph, and Lisa Magnone and her husband Fiore; two step-grandchildren, James and Patrick Carroll; and the loves of her life, her two great-grandchildren, Fiore Magnone and Ethan Domingo.  She was the sister of the late Carmella Bruno.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Michael's Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield.  Burial will be private.  Calling hours Friday 4-7 pm.  The family respectfully requests that masks be worn during visitation and the funeral mass.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Michael Church.
