Rita Pignatelli

Pignatelli, Rita M. (Scopeiliti) 76, of North Providence, died Monday November 7, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of Domenic Pignatelli. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Osowiecki) Scopelliti.

Rita was a sexton at St. James Episcopal Church, a member of the Altar Guild, Pet Bed Ministry and the Bishop's Committee. She was also a member of the North Providence Democratic Committee and the Episcopal Charity Committee.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Susan Pandozzi of North Providence and Debra Nardolillo and her husband Robert of Coventry, three grandchildren, Stephen Nardolillo, Robert Nardolillo, Jr. and Talia Pandozzi, siblings, Arthur, Vincent and Stephen Scopelliti, and dear friend, John Bernard, who was like a son to her. She was the sister of the late Helen Ruggieri and Florence Moskwa.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 10-11 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, with a funeral home service at 11AM. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd, Warwick, RI 02886.
