Rita Murphy

Murphy, Rita L. (Vezina) 88, died Tuesday October 29, 2013 at the Golden Crest Nursing Centre. She was the wife of the late Edmund F. Murphy, Jr. Born in Smithfield, she was a daughter of the late George and Eva (Bellemare) Vezina.

She is survived by her sister, Bella Octeau of Smithfield and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Norman Vezina, Janet Octeau and Beatrice Dragon.

Visitation will be held Friday from 9-10 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, followed by a funeral home service at 10AM. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
