Rita Monjeau

Monjeau, Rita M. (Strolen), 88, of Wellesley Ave., died Saturday October 13, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late Hervey R. Monjeau. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Leonard Strolen and Gertrude (Maher) Parenteau.

Rita worked in Accounts Payable at the Outlet Company and attended most of the North Providence Town Hall meetings.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Berthelette of Storrs, CT, a grandson, Eric Berthelette of Denver, CO, a sister, Doris Bradford of Warwick, 18 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours Monday 5-8 PM.
