Bolton, Reginald L. "Pepe", 84, of Woodland Ave, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, September 13, 2012 in Rhode Island Hospital. He was the loving and devoted husband of Claire (Demers) Bolton for 61 years. A life-long resident of Smithfield, he was the son of the late Lewis and Mary "Molly" (Pennington) Bolton.

Reggie was the owner of Bolton Builders for over 40 years. He was also the connection coordinator for the Smithfield Sewer Authority. He was a past president of the Smithfield Lions Club where he received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award., a past president of the Smithfield Boosters Club, a charter member of the Smithfield Lodge of Elks, a life member of the Greystone Social Club, and a member of the PA Club of Georgiaville. He loved deep sea fishing, reading, and spending time with his family and friends. He was also an avid New York Yankees fan.

A loving father and grandfather, besides his wife, he leaves a son Robert L. Bolton and his wife Jean of Smithfield, two daughters, Patrice Y. Bolton of Smithfield, and Catherine E. Harrington and her husband Roger of Chepachet, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and his sister Evelyn M. Gardner and her husband Bill of Atlantic Beach, FL.

His funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:45 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Georgiaville. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours are Monday 4-8 PM.
