Oliva, Raymond A., 81, of Cherry Hill Rd., died April 18, 2016 at the Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Brigida (Glittone) Oliva.
Raymond was the owner and proprietor of Troino's LTD, a gourmet food manufacturer, located in Smithfield, for 25 years, before retiring. He was a graduate of Johnson and Wales University, and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
He leaves a son, Joseph Oliva of Pawtucket, a daughter Colleen Voller of Phoenix, AZ, a sister Delores Paolino of Naples, FL, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and his long time companion, Linda Bouchard. He was the father of the late Kathleen Melise and brother of the late Rosalie Fico and Edward Oliva.
His funeral will be held Saturday, April 23, 2015 at 9 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours Friday 5-8 PM.
