Peter Leavitt

Leavitt, Peter C., 63, died August 14, 2013 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of Janice L. (Creelman) Leavitt. He was the son of Clayton Leavitt and the late Marie (DeLucia) Haughey Leavitt.

Mr. Leavitt was the proprietor of Aqua King Pool Service. He was the founder and president of the Northern RI Hawg Haulers and was a coach of the Smithfield Vikings Football team when they won the Super Bowl in 2005.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son Justin Leavitt, a step-son John Mazzuchelli, a granddaughter, and his siblings, Paula Menard, Charles P. Haughey, Jr., Carol McCagney, Marlene Burke, and Elizabeth DeLuca. He was the brother of the late John Haughey.

His funeral will be held Monday at 9 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Michael Church, Georgiaville. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours are Sunday 6-8 PM.
