Paulino Matarazzo

Matarazzo, Paulino P., 86 of Olney Ave., died Monday January 17, 2011 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of Marie (Bucci) Matarazzo. Born in Smithfield, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Carmella (Lolicata) Matarazzo.

A lifelong resident of North Providence, he was employed by Warren Oil Co. of Providence until he retired in 1986. He was a member of the Local 251 Teamsters and Lymansville Post VFW. He was an Army WWII veteran and received many medals for bravery.

Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Angela Chabot and her husband Peter, a grandson, Peter Chabot and his wife Charlotte, a great-granddaughter, Summer Marlena, and a brother, Salvatore Matarazzo. He was brother of the late Josephine Conte and Sandy Matarazzo.

His funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Grace Memorial Fund, 4 Lafayette St., Johnston, RI 02919.
