Pasco Macera

Macera, Pasco J. "Pat", 78, of Greenville Ave, died November 18, 2011 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Alice R. (Celentano) Macera. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Lucio and Anna (Branca) Macera.

Pat was controller for the Smithfield Lumber Company for many years before his retirement. He also served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Donna Marie Byers and her husband David of Cranston, a son David L. Macera of Johnston, and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Jesse Rose, and Megan Macera. He also leaves a brother, Robert Macera of Cranston and a sister Natalie Pagliaro of Johnston.

Pat's funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Our Lady of Grace Church. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours are Monday 5-8 PM.
