Olga Bulpitt

Bulpitt, Olga (Smith), 90, formerly of 4 Valley View Dr. in Greenville, passed away peacefully June 8, 2014 at the Scallop Shell Nursing Home in Peace Dale, RI surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Alfred J. Bulpitt. Born in Lancaster, England, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lillie (Chadwick) Smith.

Olga worked as a bookkeeper for the former Allendale Mill until retiring when she then became was a volunteer at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital for almost 40 years. She was a communicant of the former St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Centredale for over 75 years and was currently a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, North Scituate.

She is survived by her "children", Marsha Aaronson and her husband, Phil of Charlestown; Betty Merner and her husband, Michael of Charlestown and their children and grandchildren; James Lawson of NYC; a nephew, Edward Kelley of Johnston, and many other nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:45 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a service at 10 am in Trinity Episcopal Church, 251 Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Friday 5-7 pm.
