Norman Stead

Stead, Norman F., 67, of North Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Smithfield and Glocester, died March 22, 2010. He was the husband of Kathleen M. (Berrigan) Stead and the son of the late Harold R. and M. Eveline (Browne) Stead.

Besides his wife, he leaves his sister, Marion Mulcahey and her husband John of North Fort Myers, three stepchildren, John Dwyer of Johnston, Michelle Dwyer of North Providence, and Kerry Dwyer of Johnston, step-grandchildren, April, Jesse, and Nick Bucci of Johnston, his niece, Linda Lynch and her husband Craig of Smithfield, and five grandnieces and grandnephews, Richard, Sean, Kayla, Kyle and Nick Lynch, all of Smithfield.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 19th at 11 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence followed by burial with military honors in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours Tuesday 6-8 pm.
