Nicola Pagano

Pagano, Nicola P., 82, of North Providence, died Friday, August 15, 2014 at his home. He was the husband of Janet H. (Palardy) Pagano. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Nicola and Florence (Dubois) Pagano.

Mr. Pagano was a shipping manager for the former D & S Screw Products for many years, and then he worked for Mine Safety Appliances before retiring. He loved walking and the company of his coffee friends. He was a volunteer at the Smithfield Senior Center.

Besides his wife, Nicola leaves his daughters, Paula Pagano of Coventry and Sharon Pagano of North Providence, a granddaughter, Noelle Gauvin of Coventry, and a brother, Richard Pagano of Somerset, MA. He was the brother of the late Mario Pagano.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 9 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St, North Providence. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours are Monday 4-7 PM.
