Sprague, Nancy K. (Atkinson), 89, of Scituate, died on June 15, 2021 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late Forrest R. Sprague. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alan and Eva (Hallowell) Atkinson.
Nancy was a supervisor for Providence Gas Company from 1950-1956. She also was the former owner of Auburn Fish and Chips for 13 years. She was a member of both the North Scituate Baptist Church and the Greystone Primitive Methodist Church. She was active with the RI Federation of Garden Clubs and past president of the Gentian Garden Club.
Nancy is survived by her sons, Peter D. Sprague of Foster and Forrest R. Sprague III of California, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Alan and Gordon Atkinson.
Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 10:30 am in the Greystone Primitive Methodist Church, 1 Oakleigh Ave., North Providence. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
