Nancy Scrogey

Scrogey, Nancy M. (Lolicata), 89, of Fenwood Ave, died May 2, 2012 at her home with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Scrogey. A lifelong resident of Smithfield, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Georgianna (DeMello) Lolicata.

She had worked for the A. T. Cross Co. and Mine Safety Appliances before retiring. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose greatest pleasure was spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.

Nancy leaves her daughter, Joanne Driscoll and her husband John of Smithfield and two grandchildren, Joseph Driscoll and his wife Sara and Kaitlyn Driscoll. She was the sister of the late Anthony, Salvatore, and Florence Lolicata.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10 AM in St. Michael Church, Georgiaville followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are omitted.
