Nancy Ryder

Ryder, Nancy J. Lambert (Sutcliffe), 73, of Coventry, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 11, 2018 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of the late Gerald P. Ryder.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Cyril and Florence (Bradley) Sutcliffe. Nancy had worked as a LPN for many years before retiring from Morgan Health Center.

She is survived by three children, Donald A. Lambert and his girlfriend Marcie Reese of Foster, Michael J. Lambert and his wife Melissa of Johnston, Sherri A. Lambert of Pawtucket, her brother, Gordon H. Sutcliffe of Ukiah, CA, her sister, Barbara E. Collins and her husband Calden of Scituate, and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 12 noon in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, followed by burial in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visitation Saturday 11 am – 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Sammy, her beloved dog, can be made to RISPCA, 186 Amaral St., Riverside, RI 02915.
