Myrna Pratt

Pratt, Myrna L., 79, of Taunton, MA, died Sunday, June 5, 2016. Myrna was born in and grew up in Maine. She was the daughter of the late Myron and Mary (Snitko) Corbett. In 1965, she moved to East Providence, RI, with her two children, Jason and Cheryl. In 1980, she moved her family to Taunton, MA, where she would live the remainder of her life. When she was younger, Myrna worked as a hairstylist and sold Avon products for which she received an award for in the Taunton area. Myrna enjoyed helping people look their best. She considered her most important role in life being a mother, as her daughter Cheryl had special needs and required more than ordinary level of care. Myrna had a big and generous hear for whom she will be remembered by the people who knew her.

Besides her children, she is survived by six brothers, Gordon, David, Ronald, Michael, Stan, Ted and Greg Corbett. She was the sister of the late Bruce Corbett.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 8:45AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Thomas Church, Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
