Michael Mekuto, Jr.

Mekuto, Michael Jr., 88, of Johnston, died Friday, July 10, 2015 at Hopkins Manor. Born in Johnston, he was the son of the late Michael and Louise (Aurecchia) Mekuto.

Michael worked for Mohawk Trucking for 12 years until 1978. He then worked for the Town of North Providence until 1988, when he retired.

He is survived by five children, Linda Mekuto, Jo-Ann Whirlow, Michael Mekuto III, Tia Mekuto, and John Mekuto, a sister, Dorothy Nugeness, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Lenora Ethier and Eileen Worster.

Funeral services and burial in Highland Memorial Park were private.
