Sand, Mary Kay, 71, of Berkshire Place Nursing Home in Providence went to her heavenly home on October 25 after a lengthy illness.
She was the daughter of the late John A. and Catherine (Hamlin) Sand of Rochester, New York and is survived by her sister, Kathleen Majewski and nephew, Peter Keukelaar of Fairport, New York.
Mary Kay retired from the State of Rhode Island after serving on the staff of the Eleanor Slater Hospital as a Certified Occupational Therapist.
Mary Kay was a faithful communicant who gave generously of her time, talent, and treasure to her much loved St. Patrick Church in Providence. She leaves behind her special group of church friends with whom she shared a love of God and neighbor and many happy times.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 10 AM in St. Patrick Church, 244 Smith St., Providence. For online condolences visit www.robbinsfuneralhome.com
