Mary Ann Barrett

Mary Ann Barrett, 77, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Kathleen (Geary) Barrett.

Mary Ann was graduate of Blessed Sacrament.

Mary Ann enjoyed fishing at the Twin Rivers. She also enjoyed watching girls softball, as she played during high school. She was an animal lover and a loyal fan of the Red Sox and Notre Dame. 

She was the sister of the late Chief Richard Barrett of the Providence Fire Department, with whom she lived most of her life. She is survived by her brother William Barrett of Norwood, MA. She was the dear friend of Donald & Ann Gregson of North Providence and their family.

Her Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held Monday at 11 am in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations to Providence Animal Rescue League or Harmony Hospice.
