Mary Addessi

Addessi, Mary N. "Mazie" (Minutelli), 93, died May 31, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of the late Carlo "Carl" Addessi. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Angelina (Fasolini) Minutelli.

Mazie was a clerk for the Johnston School Department until retiring and a former member of the Johnston Democratic Party and a member of the St. Anne's Sodality at Our Lady of Grace Church.

She leaves three children, Rosemarie Addessi and her companion Stephen of Johnston, with whom she lived, Angela Quartino and her husband Joseph of Johnston, and Carl Addessi and his wife Kelly of Ohio, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a brother, Michael Minutelli and his wife Rita of Bristol. She was a sister of the late Ann Colatacci, John, Armand, Gaetano, Thomas, and Joseph Minutelli.

Visitation will be held Thursday 8:30-9:30 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Grace Church Memorial Fund, 4 Lafayette St., Johnston, RI 02919.
