Mark Blanchet, Jr.

Blanchet, Jr., Mark M. 65, of Smithfield, died December 22, 2018 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Mark and Jennie (Minalgo) Blanchet.

Mark was an iron worker for various construction companies. He was very good with his hands and could fix anything. Mark also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by a son, Paul M. Blanchet, two brothers, David M. Blanchet and Gerard E. Blanchet and his wife Kathleen, a sister, Jocelyn S. Blanchet, a niece Julie, two nephews, Jacob and Dave, and an aunt, Frances Gentile.

His funeral service will be held Saturday at 9 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
