Marilyn Lytle

Lytle, Marilyn J. (Stubbs), 83, died on March 17, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital.  She was the wife of the late John P. Lytle.  Raised in North Providence by her parents, the late Edward and Margaret (Clark) Stubbs, she was a longtime resident of Smithfield.

Marilyn was a retired bookkeeper, working for both Textron and Octeau Oil Company.  She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, John, and spending time in her garden.

She is survived by two sons, Edward J. Lachapelle and his wife Jacqueline of North Attleboro, Gary Lachapelle and his wife Eileen of Warwick, three grandchildren, Justin Lachapelle, Kelly Tyler, and Edward Lachapelle Jr., two great-grandchildren, Justin Lachapelle Jr. and Audree Lachapelle, her brother, Donald C. Stubbs of Woonsocket, and her beloved dog, Noah.

Funeral services and burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Providence Animal Rescue League, 34 Elbow St., Providence, RI 02903
