Margaret Brown

Brown, Margaret R., (Houde), 60, of Kensington St, Smithfield, died Wednesday July 11, 2012, at the Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the wife of the late John H. Brown. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Louis J. and Mary M. (Jones) Houde.

Margaret was a certified nursing assistant performing home care before retiring. She was a Red Sox fan. She loved to attend church bazaars, and enjoyed taking her granddaughter Paige to school functions and sporting events.

She leaves her devoted daughter Mary E. Brown and her loving granddaughter Paige Marie Hoffman, both of Smithfield, and many other loved ones.

Margaret's funeral will be held Thursday at 9AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, followed by a funeral service at 10AM in Wesley United Methodist Church, 55 Woodland St, Lincoln, RI. Burial in St. Ann Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 6-8 pm.
