Lydia Taylor

Taylor, Lydia H. (Lefebvre), 86, formerly of Johnston, died August 25, 2010 in Mesa, AZ. She was the wife of the late Chester F. Taylor. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edward S. and Louise M. (Gaulin) Lefebvre.

Lydia worked at the former Wanskuck Mill in Providence before retiring.

She leaves six children, David Taylor of Providence, Edward Taylor of Cranston, Sheila Dickson of Mesa, AZ, Denise Houle of Warwick, Gail Oliveira of East Providence, and Renee Taylor of Cranston, 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Edward G. Lefebvre.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Thomas Church, Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 5-8 pm.
