Lucy Ianero

Ianero, Lucy A. (DiMeo), 95, of Johnston, died November 4, 2011 at Heritage Hills Nursing Centre. She was the wife of the late John Ianero. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Nicola and Anna (Mancini) DiMeo.

Lucy worked for the former Allendale Mill, Mine Safety Appliances, A.T. Cross, and BIF. She was active in chorus and the 4H Club.

She leaves a daughter, Patricia Germani of Greenville, a son, John Ianero Jr. of Bradenton, FL, a sister, Ida Jenkins of Johnston, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Arlene H. Smyth and sister of the late Jennie Bastianelli, Alfred, Guido, and Dorothy DiMeo.
