Luca Spaziano

Spaziano, Luca F., 65, of Redfern St., died Tuesday May 29, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the husband of Denise (DeShaies Gaudreau) Spaziano. Born in Providence, he was a son of Antonetta (Zabatta) Marzilli of North Providence.

Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two children, Joseph L. Spaziano and his wife Kelly, Julie S. Spaziano-Battison and her husband David, three grandchildren, Jillian T. Spaziano, Evan D. O'Brien, and Alyssa A. Spaziano, and a brother, Anthony Spaziano.

The family would like to thank all that took care of Luca during his illness, especially Dr. Thomas DeNucci, and the staff at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center.

His funeral will be held Monday at 9 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, North Providence. Visitation Sunday, 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Liver Foundation, New England Chapter, 88 Winchester St., Newton, MA 02461.
