Louise Hagen

Hagen, Louise M. (Sousa) 75, died Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, with her three daughters by her side. She was preceded in death two months ago by her husband, the late Ronald J. Hagen. They would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on September 20th. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alexandrina Sousa.

Louise was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was loved and adored by her five grandchildren, who affectionately nicknamed her Bambie. She loved to garden and tend to her flowers.

She is survived by her daughters, Debra A. Petteruto and her husband Allan of North Providence, Donna M. Clements and her husband Col. Hugh T. Clements, Jr., PPD of East Greenwich, Lori L. Hagen of North Providence, five grandchildren, Allan, Jr., Ashley and Matthew Petteruto, Kayleigh and Kourtney Clements, and two sisters, Agnes Corso and Maria Parece. She was the sister of the late Julio Sousa.


Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:45AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Augustine Church, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jessie's Dream, a scholarship fund established in memory of her niece, Jessica Morris.
